Andy Gygli - Board Member

I’ve been on two wheels almost as long as I’ve been on two feet. Bikes meant freedom—the freedom to travel alone, to explore the woods, and to throw myself down mountains too fast for my own good. Decades later, little has changed except the awareness of achy knees and my far less heal-able body.

Lander is a wonderful spot, full of good people, good trails with more every year, and not far from other biking hotspots. Singletrack is where it’s at, and my hope as a board member of the Lander Cycling Club is to maintain and build inspiring and challenging trails so local riders can continually improve their skills. For me, biking is not just about communion with my quadriceps, but a means of community and a prime excuse to be outside.

When not biking, you can find me exploring with my dog, skiing, chasing the next gym challenge, or playing the latest and greatest Doom WAD.
