Laura Griffee - Board Treasurer

I didn't discover mountain and gravel biking until 2022 in Lander, but once I did, I was hooked. My friends were the ones who convinced me to get my first mountain bike, and while it was intimidating at first, I quickly fell in love with the sport. There's something special about combining exercise with the social side of riding—getting out on the trails with people who share the same passion.

My favorite ride has to be Red Ridge at JBR at sunset. Every time I'm up there, I'm reminded why I live here and what it means to feel truly alive. Both my mountain bike and gravel bike let me explore Wyoming's incredible landscape in different ways, and I love having both options depending on the day.

The Lander Cycling Club has brought so much community and joy into my life through their events and all they do for our town. Serving as treasurer is my way of giving back to a community that's given me so much. When I'm not on two wheels, you'll find me hiking, skiing, crafting something by hand, playing board games with friends, or deep into a good audiobook.
